Flexiti’s simple financing program can make your purchase more affordable! This guide will cover key elements of the system. Before all that, here are a few tips to help you get the best results from our financing system.

Welcome to Flexiti!

The FlexitiCard works across the Flexiti Network. It is accepted at more than 7500 retail locations across the country. Currently, Flexiti has over 1 million accounts and growing. These customers can shop anywhere within the Flexiti Network which can open the door to more purchases.

Before You Start

Applying for financing with Flexiti, be aware there will be a credit check to get customers approved for maximum credit allowance.

*Be prepared to pay your mandatory payment to Artistic at time of approval.

Artistic Awning & Screens charges a surcharge that must be paid upfront as a deposit that is added on to the quoted amount. This is mandatory. The amount is a percentage of the total amount.  Artistic Awning & Screens surcharge will only be calculated on the finance amount. See charges below:

Example: 

If customer quote is $10,000.00 all taxes included. Customer gets approved for $11,000.00 credit limit. Customer chooses deferred 6-month plan. Artistic Awning & Screens invoices and collects surcharge (4.5% of $10,000.00) $450.00 and processes $10,000.00 to Flexiti Credit Card. An annual fee of $59.99 will be added to the $10,000.00 = loan amount of $10,059.99 due within 6 months.

*The loan term starts as soon as Artistic Awning & Screens processes payment on Flexiti app. This gets done in store at time of surcharge/deposit, keep in mind this is whether the product has been installed or not. Customers order will be put into production immediately and installed in timeline given.

*Once Flexiti has all been approved, Artistic Awning & Screens is no longer able to assist with making payments, customer is to deal directly with Flexiti. 

*If total amount is not paid by the due date, then accrued interest of 29.99% of total amount of loan will be charged to the card and interest on remaining amount will continue to be charged each month.

Information needed from customer to apply for Flexiti Card:

Valid email address & have access to it while in the office (Artistic Awning CANNOT use an email of their own in place of the applicant’s email)

  • Personal income annual
  • Household income annual
  • Housing type (rent, owning, living with relative, other)
  • Drivers license with picture (Must be valid with current address) or BC Identification with picture
  • SIN (optional)
  • Occupation & Job title
  • Employer Name
  • Employer phone number

Flexiti Plan Descriptions

Deferred – Interest Accrues

No payments are due until the promotional offer’s expiry date. Administrative fee may apply depending upon agreement with merchant. Payment protection insurance premiums and taxes, if applicable are billed monthly. No interest is payable for the duration of the promotional term. However, interest accrues during the promotional term. If the promotional balance has not been paid in full by the promo expiry date, the accrued interest will be charged to the cardholder’s account and the interest will be charged on the balance going forward at the cardholder’s annual interest rate.

Equal Monthly Payments – No Interest

The balance is to be paid in equal monthly payments, payment protection insurance premiums, and taxes if applicable. Administrative fee may apply depending upon agreement with merchant. Promotional annual interest rate varies based on the cardholder’s creditworthiness. If Flexiti does not receive required payments by the due date, Flexiti may cancel the promotional offer and interest will be charged at the cardholder’s annual interest rate.

Equal Monthly Payments – Regular Interest

The balance is to be paid in equal monthly payments, including interest, payment protection insurance premiums, and taxes applicable. Administrative fee may apply depending upon agreement with merchant. Promotional annual interest rate varies based on the cardholder’s creditworthiness. As of the effective date, the available promotional annual interest rates are 9.99%, 13.99% and 19.99%. Interest accrues and is applied for the duration of the promotional term. If Flexiti does not receive required payments by the due date, Flexiti may cancel the promotional offer and interest will be charges at the cardholder’s annual interest rate.

Flexiti Wave Card – Equal Monthly Payments

The balance is to be paid in equal monthly payments, including interest, payment protection insurance premiums, and taxes if applicable. Administrative fee applies. Interest accrues and is applied for the duration of the promotional term. If Flexiti does not receive required payments by the due date, Flexiti may cancel the promotional offer and interest will be charges at the cardholder’s annual interest rate.

Flexiti App

Accessing the Flexiti App is easy! There are 3 different access points for the customer:

Tablet & Phone – Available for download in the Google Play Store for free on Android devise and in the App Store for Apple devices.

Desktop – the online credit website can be accessed at the following link

Login credentials

Every Flexiti user will enter in their information at either Kelowna or Summerland office location on the provided Tablet. Here you will be prompted questions that must be filled out in order apply for the credit.

*Make sure you keep your log in and password, Artistic Awning & Screens do not have access to your personal information and log in. Artistic Awning & Screens cannot assist in account reset; customers will need to contact Flexiti directly. Please contact Flexiti Merchant Support 1-877-259-3754 if you have any questions or need assistance. 

Applying for Credit

To start the process Artistic Awning will sign in to Flexiti and enter in the desired credit amount. If customer only gets approved for partial amount of quote, it will be their choice on how they would like to proceed.

*It’s very important that the applicant use an email address that only they has access to. If customers do not have one, they can consider using one from a partner or relative. Account information, statements, and other confidential information will be sent to this email address.

Artistic Awning & Screens will enter in as much information as possible and will be required to scan drivers license or BCID, then will pass the tablet to the customer to fill out the remaining information. The applicant can also provide their SIN number to help locate them in the credit bureau, but it is not mandatory.

The applicant will need to create a personal identification word and select a security question and provide an answer. Customer should not share the answer with Artistic Awning & Screens. (This will work as customs PIN for future transactions.

If the application requires more information, you will be directed to call merchant support. The agent will ask to speak to the customer directly to verify some information. After the applicant is approved, Artistic Awning will log in to the preferred purchase option in the main menu and proceed with the application.

If the applicant is declined, a thank-you message will appear, inviting the customer to reapply in six months.

Once approved you will receive a “Welcome to Flexiti” email which will contain your account number, credit limit and a “register your account” prompt button. Click on that button to create your log in credentials.

*Customer must review the card holder agreement before submitting the application. Customer must choose to accept or decline. On acceptance a credit bureau check will be performed.

Insurance

Simply Secure balance protection insurance gives customers a sense of security should they call into unexpected financial circumstances such as job loss or disability.

Simply Secure Insurance

Flexiti is pleased to offer optional Simply Secure balance protection insurance to our customers. It can help customers to continue monthly payments if they become disabled or lose their job.  It can also pay their outstanding credit account balance up to $25,000.00 in cases of severe injury or death or are diagnosed with critical illness.

Premiums are conveniently charged to their Flexiti credit account, and customers can cancel their coverage without charge within the first 30 days.

Simply Secure is affordable at only $1.39/$100 (plus applicable taxes) of their outstanding credit account balance.

Signing up is easy. Customers simply click to sign up during the application process.

*Artistic Awning & Screens always wants to remind customers that if you choose not to sign up with the insurance to call in 15 days to ensure it has not been added to the account. 

Account Activation

Customers who are approved will receive FlexitiCards in the mail that can be used to make purchases instore. Former TDFS cardholders may come into your store to make a purchase. Before they can complete their purchase, they must activate their Flexiti account. If you try to make a purchase without activating the card first, you will be prompted to by the app to activate it.

*This is important for the customer to have access to their email while in the store if they prefer immediate approval and purchase. 

Customers will also need to have access to their cell phones. A security code will be sent via SMS to their cell phone number. The code may take up to a few minutes to arrive. The customer will need to enter the 4 digit security code into the application. They have 3 attempts to correctly enter the security code.

*If customer does not have a phone with them, they will be prompted to contact the call centre at 1-877-259-3745.

*After all financing approval is complete, remember Artistic Awning & Screens does not have access and cannot assist with issues or legally answer questions.
